Our home study has finally been approved! Our file now goes to the case worker for the Korea program at CHSFS. Today is her first day back in the office since she was in Korea last week. I'm hoping that by the end of the week she'll email updated pictures of her visit with HJ.
Next step - The agency will be sending us official "acceptance" paperwork that will go with our home study to the adoption agency in Korea. This lets the Korean agency know to file for Emigration Permission with the Korean government (permission for HJ to leave the country). Then we will receive HJ's legal documents which we need in order to file our I-600 form with USCIS.
We're also having another yard sale this weekend. It's supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny! We're hoping to raise a lot of money since we have a payment due to the adoption agency, and an upcoming fee to file the I-600 with USCIS. Please pray for a successful yard sale.
